Most software makes people come to it. Two-minute updates get put off, the application stalls halfway, or a quick question goes unasked. Side Nerd uses AI to turn texts, emails, and web chats into completed applications, validated records, and answered questions — in the systems you already use.
Send a message the way you actually would — watch Side Nerd structure the data, fill the gaps, and update the records in real time.
Text your notes after a conversation — even several people at once. Link Lead pulls each contact, company, and follow-up into your CRM, and asks once for anything it's missing.
A benefits-eligible employee answers a few questions over text. MediMatch fills what it can from their profile and builds the intake record before any form is opened.
Ask a real question — "can I use my FSA for my kid's glasses?" Frank replies with a sourced, plan-specific answer, and logs the deflection so HR never fields that call.
A text, an email, a Teams or WhatsApp message, a web chat, or a photo — whatever channel they already use. No fields. No prompts.
Schema-driven extraction pulls the structured values hiding inside the message.
If a required field is ambiguous or absent, we restate what we understood and ask one targeted follow-up to fill the gap.
Every interaction is logged and visible to admins, whatever the job. But what the person on the other end gets is not the same thing.
A completed application, a booked appointment, a qualified referral — routed to the team that acts on it.
A validated record written into your CRM, payroll, or HRIS. No one opened the system.
An answer, cited to its source in your knowledge base — plus a logged deflection your support team never had to field.
The message gives the shift; the profile fills in the rest — so a quick text becomes a complete payroll record.
Your CRM, payroll, and HRIS stay exactly where they are. We add the interface everyone already knows — the phone in their pocket — for the everyday updates and questions that shouldn't require a desk, and do the structured-data work on the back end so those systems still get clean input.
Side Nerd is one platform organized around three things organizations actually struggle with: getting people through a process (Guided Intake), getting work on the record (Capture Work), and getting questions answered (Grounded Answers). Every product is a packaged version of one or more of these jobs.
Help more people finish complex processes.
Meet people where they are — by text, email, or the web — and guide them through enrollment, intake, qualification, and onboarding. Reduce friction. Increase completion.
Capture work where it happens.
Skip the trip back to the desk. Instead of "log into the CRM" or "fill out the spreadsheet," it's simply: text me what happened. We structure it and push it where it belongs.
Answer questions where people already are.
Get your support team out of the same seven calls. People text a question and get an answer personalized to their plan, grounded in the documents you provide and cited to the source. Never a guess.
Each product below runs on the same platform, packaged for one job: templates, prompts, routing, integrations, and reporting, in the vocabulary of your industry. You don't buy five things. You fix one process, prove the number, and expand from there.
Eligible employees, Medicare-ready. Via text.
White-label SMS intake for brokers and General Agents. Offboard Medicare-eligible employees, cut employer claims, and retain the client relationship. Built with HIPAA and TCPA compliance built in.
Starts at $150/mo for Medicare brokers — free for non-Medicare brokerages and their groups
Referrals become booked appointments.
A text-first routing layer that closes the gap between referral and scheduled visit. No app, no portal, no IT lift.
Same platform. Different vocabulary.
Community Lending, Medical Device Qualification, and Benefits Enrollment all run the same intake engine. One of them has a live demo you can try right now.
Hours, impact, and photos — all via text.
Volunteers log hours and impact by texting naturally. Built for nonprofits and corporate social-impact programs that need real reporting.
Free for individual users* — organizations start at $40/mo for up to 50 volunteers
We'll text you once to get you started. Reply STOP to opt out.
* Or save the contact and text Ither yourself to try it free.
Conversations become CRM records.
Reps text notes after a booth conversation. Contact details, company, context, and follow-up tags land in HubSpot or Salesforce before they leave the floor.
Starts at $30/user/mo
Shift notes become payroll rows.
SMS time tracking for distributed workforces — nurses, caregivers, field crews. Text what you did; payroll gets a clean, validated row.
Employee questions become grounded answers.
Members text benefits questions 24/7. Frank replies with sourced, plan-specific answers. HR stops fielding the same seven calls.
Starts at $1 per employee/mo — often $0 out of pocket
The same seven calls, answered before they're placed.
Point the engine at your policies, plan documents, and FAQs. Answers cite their source. Anything outside scope gets a clear redirect, never a guess.
Adoption that doesn't depend on a rollout plan. Four things we keep true across every product — each one adds its own guarantees on top.
If they can text, they can use it. Day one, no training.
Not conversation logs — typed, validated records your systems can read.
We write into your CRM, payroll, HRIS, or warehouse. We don't replace them.
Every interaction — asked, answered, escalated, deflected — logged and searchable. You see exactly what people are asking and what they're getting back.
Side Nerd Apps is a studio building software for the people every other vendor ignores: the person who didn't sign up for the rollout, doesn't want the app, and still has a job to do. We don't sideline these users. We center on them.
It started as a translation problem. Field workers, volunteers, caregivers, and sales reps already communicate fluently — in texts, in emails, in the way humans actually talk. The systems they're supposed to feed don't speak that language. So we built the layer in between.
Every product runs on the same engine: interpret intent, extract fields, validate gaps, resolve. That engine — an original method for capturing, structuring, and routing natural-language and media data — is the subject of a pending U.S. patent application. It isn't a wrapper around a third-party API, and no agency or internal build starts with it. What comes out the far end is what separates one product from another. The surface changes per use case. The belief doesn't.
Most enterprise software assumes people should go to the software. We think that's backwards. The friction isn't the interface — it's being asked to leave what you're doing, remember another system, and navigate another screen. So we moved the interface into the conversation. When the technology disappears, people show up.
We build for people who think technology shouldn't be this cumbersome — because the ones it frustrates most are the ones whose work depends on it working.
The product is a workflow people finish.

"I am LOVING THIS WAY OF TRACKING!!! I think this will be the first time I've ever gotten my tracker submitted on time! And it was so easy to use October's report when preparing my recent court report."
"Some of our volunteers were nervous about the change, fearful of relying on this new technology, but with the customized training videos by Emily and the ability to generate a customized log of their hours within any time frame, our volunteers have all embraced the technology, and we have fully implemented the Ither platform!"
"[Our old processes] seem drastically medieval compared to what we're able to do today... There's just no comparison of the value or the time commitment after this adoption."
"The responses the app sends to the volunteers are really awesome and actually really encouraging. The volunteers love it because it reflects that they are doing amazing work and what they are doing is impactful and important."
Short answers. Longer ones available on request.
No — though it can do everything a chatbot can do, and that's the least of it. Side Nerd works like a conversational form: it dissects each incoming message, identifies every distinct intent inside it, extracts the fields, validates them, and writes a structured record your systems can act on — running on a patent-pending framework built for exactly that job, not a chat wrapper around a general model. A chatbot holds a conversation. Side Nerd extracts, validates, and routes — then answers, confirms, and logs. The dialogue exists in service of the data, not the other way around.
No — they text a regular 10-digit phone number, the same way they'd text a coworker. For users who want the number saved as a contact on their phone, we provide an optional one-tap save link. That's it. No app, no portal, no login required.
Forms require the user to fill out the same information every time, field by field. Apps require training and adoption. Side Nerd lets users send the input they would naturally write, and does the structuring on the back end. It removes the cognitive load from the user and puts it on the system — which is where it belongs.
Into the systems you already run the business in — HubSpot, Salesforce, ADP, Gusto, a payroll platform, an HRIS, a Google Sheet, a Postgres warehouse. For some workflows, Side Nerd is also the system of record, and in those cases we provide a full admin dashboard with data management and custom analytics reports built in. We're a translation layer where you need one, and a system of record where you need that.
That's the job. The system restates its interpretation, asks a targeted follow-up for any required field it couldn't fill, and writes the record once it passes validation — creating a new entry or updating an existing one, depending on the workflow and what we already know about that user.
From your knowledge base first — the documents, plan summaries, policies, and FAQs you provide, hosted by us or pulled from your existing sources. Answers cite the source so members can verify. For general questions outside your defined content, we use a fine-tuned model that handles broad topics accurately without hallucinating domain-specific details. We upgrade the underlying model every six months to stay current with best practice, and we fine-tune more frequently — any time we observe an answer that tuning would improve. Questions outside your defined scope always get a clear redirect, never a guess.
Yes. When someone texts in another language, Side Nerd answers their question back in that same language automatically — there's nothing for the user to set. For an organization serving a specific language community, a deployment can also be configured for full parity in that language, so prompts, confirmations, and reports are localized too — not just the answers.
Full visibility. Every interaction is logged: who asked, what they asked, what answer was given, which source was cited, whether it was resolved or escalated, and whether a support call was deflected. You can filter by topic, member segment, or date range. This data also feeds back into improving the knowledge base — high-volume questions that weren't answered cleanly become content gaps you can close.
Yes. The workflows listed above are the ones we've built for specific markets. If you have a workflow where "get the right information from a person who won't use your software" is the bottleneck — that's what the platform is for. Email Emily to talk through it.
The fastest way to understand Side Nerd is to use it. Pick the workflow that matches your team, or talk to Emily about a custom build.
